The UAP Disclosure Act of 2023, as part of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024, mandated the creation of the UAP Records Collection at the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). This process has begun, with the first set of records from agencies scheduled to be available online starting in October 2024. While the collection was established, other proposed elements such as the independent Review Board were not included in the final legislation.
