Traditionally Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) have been depicted as some type of ‘craft.’ These ‘craft’ have come in various shapes and sizes and the physics of their flight characteristics studied in detail. Many reports have been discounted as misidentification of known craft or natural phenomena while a small percentage have remained unidentified. In other studies, UAP have been reported as ball lightning, light balls or earth lights. Their presence and physics have been studied in detail and their shape, size and movement documented. In the present study a location centric manifestation in the 850 nm infrared spectra of UAP in the form of orbs and rods occurred. Orbs and rods were filmed at a distance that was between 5 metres to 50 metres from the observer and camera at 30 frames per second. Orbs consisted of a range of different sized grey and white spheres with some being bisected by ‘shimmering’ rings. Rods had a range of sizes and a lateral extension or spiral that spun around them at extreme speed, like a spindle. Neither orb nor rods resembled any shape or flight characteristics of known organisms that were nocturnal flyers. Over four trips to the location the abundance of orbs and rods did not differ by cardinal direction. However, for two out of the four field trips abundance of orbs and rods differed between each other. In addition, for two of the trips overnight abundance decreased markedly, having peaked in the early evening after dark. The ratio of orbs to rods also differed between trips, but when taken overall was approximately one to one. In conclusion, a relationship between orbs and rods may exist. They could be natural (sentient or non-sentient), man-made (autonomous or controlled), or multi-domain (non-human and controlled or uncontrolled) representing some form of intelligence, including extraterrestrial intelligence. Why they are at this location, what their presence means, what their purpose is, and what their energy source is undetermined.
